A big thank you to those of you who have submitted manuscripts to us recently. We hope to get back to all who have progressed to the next stage in due course but please be patient as there are a lot of you!

Some of you may have been trying to submit entries at the last minute and seen an error message indicating that your submmission hasn't gone through. This is usually because the webform is not that keen on large manuscript submissions. If that is you don't worry, please just contact me directly on jemc@vervebooks.co.uk and we'll arrange for your submissions to be sent in a different way.

We are now temporarily closed to new submissions but do feel free to revisit this page to find out the status of our submission process.
