Olivia Douglass

Olivia Douglass is a British Nigerian writer and artist born in Lewisham, South London to an English mother and Nigerian father. Olivia grew up between Wiltshire and West Somerset, before returning to London. Their writing navigates themes of desire, memory and experiments in living. Olivia is the author of poetry pamphlets ;Unruly Blood ;(2024) and ;Slow Tongue ;(2018). Their short story ;Ink ;won ;The Guardian ;and 4th Estate 4thWrite Prize in 2022, marking a transition into fiction. Olivia’s debut novel, ;Salt, will be published by VERVE Books in June 2027.
